O’Reilly All Star Forecast: Thunder Through The Plains.

CAMARGO, IL (8-6-07) - The O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions will
load up and head west this week as many of the teams will compete in the
47^th Annual Super Clean Knoxville Nationals before heading further west
into Kansas. The Knoxville Nationals takes place over four days between
August 8^th and August 11^th . The final night’s events will be
broadcast live on SPEED channel at 9 pm EST on Saturday August 11th.

As All Star points racing resumes, the series will visit Thunderhill
Speedway in Mayetta, KS on Monday August 13^th . Last season, rookie
contender Chad Blonde picked up his first All Star win at this facility
and in 2005 it was rookie contender Cody Geldart who took home the
hardware. One of the largest All Star crowds of the 2006 season was
recorded at Thunderhill and advance tickets have been selling at a rapid
pace. This is expected to be another exciting race as the All Star
points battle heats up and several other cars from the midwest are
expected to attend as they travel home from Knoxville. For more info

On Tuesday August 14^th , the All Stars roll into Rolling Plains Motor
Speedway in Hays, KS bringing their wheel to wheel brand of 410 sprint
car excitement further west to the Ellis County Fairgrounds. Many of
the same cars are expected to make the trip to Hays along with the
traveling All Star group to compete on the 3/8 mile banked clay oval.
You won't want to miss this one as winged 410 sprint cars make a rare
appearance in Central Kansas.

The All Star drivers will then have a short break as they head south to
Riverside International Speedway (affectionately known as “The Ditch”)
where they will take on the gumbo track surface on Friday August 17^th
and Saturday August 18^th . Riverside International Speedway has been
the home to exciting dirt track racing in the mid-south since 1949. Many
dirt racing legends cut their teeth on the Arkansas gumbo surface. The
rich history and tradition continues on as Clayton Allen has resurrected
the facility and has brought sprint car racing back on the banks of the
Mississippi. The crowd should be fired up to see some All Star brand
excitement after attending the “Elvis Days” celebration in West
Memphis. For more info visit www.riversideinternationalspeedway.com

Veteran driver Danny Smith still maintains a 109 point lead over 2006
All Star Champion Greg Wilson and is just 111 points in front of All
Star Rookie of the Year contender Brian Paulus who sits in third place.
The three drivers will be battling hard to contend for the 2007 points
championship worth $50,000 to the winner. To make things even more
interesting, the Thunderhill Speedway event is worth double points to
the All Star members. This could shake things up in the points race as
the season begins to wind down. You don’t want to miss any of the
“Thunder” as the 410 sprint cars rumble through the Plains and into West
Memphis. See the All Star web site for more info at
