KRAMER WILLIAMSON HEATS-UP ON A HOT NIGHT, SCORE SECOND URC WIN OF 2007
AND 65TH CAREER WIN SATURDAY NIGHT AT DELAWARE INTERNATIONAL

Kramer Williamson was just too hot to touch Saturday night at the
Delaware International Speedway as he won the twenty-five lap URC BAR'S
LEAKS Sprint feature event. For Williamson, it was his second win of
the season and the Master's sixty-fifth career win under the United
Racing Company banner. Williamson earned $2,000 for the win. The only
thing hotter then Williamson was the heat of a long summer day that
never did cool off into the night. The show marked the eighteenth URC
event of the 2007 and fifth race of the Taylor & Messick Delaware State
Sprint Series. Williamson has won the last two feature events at
Delaware International.

URC continues to set the standard for car count across the county,
attracting a field of twenty-eight sprints cars on Saturday night. The
three heat race events were won by Scott Pursell, Mike Haggenbottom and
Davey Sammons as Andrew Hannula won the Don Ott "B" Main.

In the twenty-five lap URC BAR'S LEAKS feature event, Scott Pursell was
the early race leader with Davey Sammons quickly charging into second.
>From out of nowhere, Kramer Williamson of Palmyra, PA moved from his
tenth place starting position to bolt into third by lap three. Sammons
began to chase down Pursell as Williamson was chasing down Sammons.

On lap seven, the yellow was displayed when Brook Weibley flipped in
turn three. Weibley walked away uninjured but the Eldreth Construction
#25 was badly damaged. With green flag racing again underway, Pursell,
Sammons and Williamson were now racing under a blanket for the lead. As
the field passed for the halfway sign, Williamson moved into second and
one lap later, he became the new leader.

Also on a good run was Curt Michael who started seventh. Michael was
racing in third on lap fourteen, but the leaders had a comfortable
margin as Michael had to play catch-up. Finally, on lap sixteen,
Michael moved into second and set his sights on the leader.

With just five laps to go, Williamson had the field covered and he knew
he just had to avoid the lapped traffic that was ahead. Williamson
mastered the lapped traffic and never gave up any ground to runner-up
Curt Michael. Making up the top five were Davey Sammons, Trevor Lewis
and Dave Ely.
