KALEY GHARST EXTENDS LEAD IN COX DESIGN
SOUTHERN IOWA SPRINTWEEK POINTS AFTER NIGHT FOUR OF TEN
KNOXVILLE, IOWA (August 6, 2007) - With his third win in four nights in the Brodix Tournament of Champions at Knoxville Raceway, Kaley Gharst of Decatur, Illinois, has extended his lead in the Cox Design Southern Iowa SprintWeek points after night four of ten consecutive nights of sprint car racing between the half-mile dirt tracks in Knoxville and Oskaloosa. Gharst represented the Sprint Invaders Association (SIA) in the winged 360-cubic-inch sprint car invitational race last night. Night number five is tonight with the Musco Lighting Front Row Challenge at the Southern Iowa Fairgrounds in Oskaloosa. Kasey Kahne, who finished fifth in the inaugural Mr. Sprint Car title chase in 2002, will be racing tonight in the Front Row Challenge winged 410 race.
