Midwest All Stars Head East for Union County Tussle .
The O’Reilly Midwest All Star Series, featuring some of the most competitive winged sprint car racing in the country, treks to Union County Speedway in Liberty, IN Friday night, August 10th. With over one hundred drivers having competed so far during the 2007 racing schedule, coupled with a very tight points battle, the Midwest All Stars have provided fans with great racing and race teams with an outstanding opportunity to recognition.
The Midwest All Stars are led by current points leader Jerrod Hull of Sikeston, MO, hard charging veteran Rob Standridge, A.J. Bruns and two-time feature winner Jimmy Hurley, all from Springfield, IL, and Missouri’s Tim Montgomery. Many local teams will also be in attendance, trying to claim the $2,000 first prize in the thirty-lap feature.
Union County Speedway is a 3/8th mile high-banked clay track located in Liberty, located south of Richmond, IN. Adult grandstand tickets are just $15 and pit passes are $30.
