FASTRAK Late Models head to Green Valley Speedway August 11; $3,000 to Win.

What a weekend! Both Southern and Mid-East Regional Championships at
stake. Green Valley will host night one of the $50,000 to win FASTRAK
Grand Nationals and local track championship being challenged at the
same time. Three different Championships very much depending on this
weekends results.

August 8, 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Carnesville, GA)…The FASTRAK Late Models head into the 3/8ths mile
facility of Green Valley Speedway in Glenco, AL this Saturday night,
August 11 for a $3,000 to win Touring Event. New Owner Dennis Harker
has done an incredible job of improving the facility with the
additions of an AMB timing system along with VIP suites, completely
redoing the track itself and hosting some of the largest events in
the Southeast.

This weekend for the FASTRAK series is certain to be a huge one as
Green Valley is also hosting night one of the $50,000 to win
FASTRAK "Grand Nationals" in October. Teams from all over the
Southeast are coming to get a little "paid practice" and track time
before the Grand Nationals weekend. The FASTRAK teams have been
fighting all year long to gain the ever so valuable points to start
night one of the Grand National Championship with. 2006 FASTRAK
National Champion, Steve `Hot Rod' LaMance won the $50,000 prize by
only 2 points, so every point a team can get is vital to the outcome
of the season.

The event at Green Valley this weekend is also a big part of both
Southern and Mid East Regional Championships as both Regions will be
competing and the Regional Championships are still very much in
question as to who the winners might be. Each Region pays a Top Prize
of $5,000 to win paying thorough 10 positions. As of 8/3/07 the
current Mid-East Region leader was John Llewellyn with only a 23-
point lead over Lee Cooper, but after the Wythe race August 3rd,
Llewellyn had some terrible luck and Cooper is right on his back
bumper. Cooper scored 33 points at Wythe and Llewellyn scored 19
points narrowing the margin to only 9 points coming into the Green
Valley race. The 22 of William Thomas and the 187 of David McCoy are
also very much in contention for the Mid East Regional Championship
in positions 3rd and 4th respectively and it is anyone's Championship
as if right now. Everything is on the line.

The Southern Region Championship, also a big part of this weekends
action, also has a points `battle' going on internally, as current
point leader William Thomas (#22) only has a 3 point leader over
second place David McCoy (#187) with Llewellyn (#90) with Cooper (57)
and Jordy Nipper (1N) all still in contention for the $5,000 to win
prize in the Southern Region. Cooper was the 2006 Southern Region
Champion and although having some mechanical difficulties early in
the 2007 season, Cooper has really come on strong since the middle of
the year.
"We just kept having little things go wrong early in the year" said
Cooper. "Finally we are back on track and hope to win the Southern
Region Championship again this year. That would give us 3 points for
winning the Southern Region, 1 point for attending 51% of the events
plus another point for running every race this year so we would start
the Grand National Championship with 5 points. That's exactly how Hot
Rod won the $50,000 last year and we sure want our best shot at that
too. If we can just win this Southern Region we feel like our chances
in the Grand Nationals will be very good".

The stakes for winning either Region are going up as those points are
so important when the 3 day Grand Nationals begin. 2006 FASTRAK
National Champion Hot Rod LaMance can attest to that. He came into
the Championship last year with 2 extra points and won by those 2
exact points. "It's the largest prize in dirt racing in the United
States" said LaMance. "Or at least in a `non professional' series.
This year it will be three times as hard to win it. I will be there
making a bid for it though. Trying to win it again".

Look for current track point leaders from all over the Southeast to
be in attendance as everyone wants to get a little `seat time' at
Green Valley in preparation for night one of the $50,000 to win
FASTRAK GRAND NATIONALS. Former Super late model star, David Smith is
expected to be on hand. Smith is the current point leader at Harris
Speedway in NC and will be making his way towards Green Valley as
will many of the FASTRAK teams from different tracks in the Southeast
United States.

The format for the FASTRAK SERIES has been a `fan favorite' across
the country as only the top 12 qualifiers will be locked in to the
main event. The balance of the field will be determined by heat races
with transfer spots relegating their starting positions. `Six lucky
children' will then be chosen from the grandstands and get their
choice of the top 6 cars as they go down to the front straight during
driver introductions and actually draw numbers for the "inversion" of
the QUIK 6 drivers. Before the drivers get back into their cars each
driver will be given a tennis ball worth anywhere from $1 to $20 as
they throw them into the grandstands. As the teams take off for the
main event, the traditional "4 wide salute to the fans" will be
performed with fire works going off at the same time.

Look for an action packed weekend and some of the toughest Dirt Late
Model Racing in the nation as EVERY Championship is on the line.
