Black Rock Bandit Champion to Receive LCD TV from Home Necessities.
By Rich Vleck, DUNDEE, NY (August 8, 2007)- They might not race for prize money, but for the 2007 HomeNecessities.com Bandit Champion, I dont think it is going to matter!
Since jumping on board back in June, Home Necessities has become a very involved sponsor, running a number of promotions and sponsoring events on a number of nights. Their initial sponsorship was the title sponsor of the 12-15 year old Bandit division, something they have recently increased with their added sponsorship.
The 2007 Bandit Champion will end up with something a kid always wants: a 28 LCD TV. Home Necessities offers a number of fine products such as this state-of-the-art television and will display it to a kid that could only dream of having one.
Tom Austin Jr. has been enjoying a dream season in 2007, dominating action in the division and consistently running in the top-five in the first feature of each night. It is possible that Rocker can clinch the title this week, which would clinch the TV so he has something to watch, while at home in his rocker.
The final race of the 2007 season for the HomeNecessities.com Black Rock Bandits will be August 31, which will be a double point event.
Racing action kicks off with the bandits once again this Friday, at 6:45 p.m. at the Black Rock Speedway, located just 15 minutes up Route 14a from Watkins Glen. A number of the stars of today will be on hand to watch these stars of the future. For more information, visit www.BlackRockSpeedway.com.
