Little Valley Adds Super Late Model Date
Little Valley Speedway officials have announced that, through a mutual business decision by the Speedway and ESS, the sprint cars will not be appearing on Sunday, August 26th as was originally scheduled. Instead the Super Late Models will head the card, running for $3,000 to win. The original support classes, Super Stocks, running for $1,000 first place money, the E-Mods, vying for a $650 winners check, and the Street Stocks, looking for $500 top money, will appear as scheduled on that date.
The Racing Legends Reunion, replete with some vintage cars to be on display, will be held as scheduled on August 26th, with many of our racing pioneers invited to attend.
Gates open at 3:00, with racing at 6:00. Admission is $12 for adults, with those under 12 admitted free.
This development, along with the re-scheduling of the July 14th rainout to September 7th, also featuring the Super Late Models, will mean that, barring further interruption from Mother Nature, the Super Late Models will be running their full six race slate as originally planned, since the August 26th date will make up for the May 27th opening night rainout.
In response to queries from our loyal fans regarding rain checks from July 14th, the Speedway will honor those rain checks at the August 26th and September 7th shows. If you are unable to attend on those dates you may present your rain checks at the September 8th $5,000 to win Late Model event or the September 22nd Late Model/T3 358 Modified Doubleheader shows and be admitted by paying the $3.00 difference in the price of the rained out programs and the final two shows.
