FASTRAK Crate Lates join 5 Star Program at Genesee Speedway.

A surprise addition of the FASTRAK Crate Late Models will join the regular 5 Star program this week at Genesee Speedway. The FASTRAK Series had an open weekend on their schedule and approached promoter Mike Lauterborn about bringing the series to the speedway in Batavia, New York.
The BDK Construction Late Models will be participating in a show up points only show as the touring BRP 360 Late Models are competing at close by Canandaigua Speedway and a few of the Genesee Speedway 360 Late Model regulars will be following the tour to Canandaigua.
The Troyer Race Cars Sportsman division will be back in action this week after having their feature event from last week postponed until August 18th due to curfew issues. 5- time feature winner in 2007 at Genesee Speedway Rob Pratt who just recently changed over to a crate engine is looking to extend his 18 point lead over Steve Schumacher.
Pete Stefanski is still continuing his reign of terror on the Greenlief’s Restaurant Pro Stock division. Stefanski nullified the $100 bounty that BDK Construction put up to anyone that could put an end to Stefanski’s continuous trips to victory lane.
Jeff Bridge became the newest face n victory lane this season in the Bobcat of Buffalo Street Stocks. ‘Wild’ Bill Weller is at the point in the street stock division holding a 14 point lead over Joey Spicola and a 16 point lead over 3rd place Jeb Walworth.
Bobby Dickinson made his 3rd trip to victory lane this past week and although he has the most feature wins by one driver in the Dickinson’s Auto Service Mini Stocks this season, he finds himself on the outside looking in as Russ Wassner and Ken Hixenbaugh are running away from the pack in the points race. Wassner is leading Hixenbaugh by 10 points with the end of the season closing in.
