Keegan claims 55th win at Attica; Sebetto wins 7th 305 main; Missler takes late model victory; Arnold scores truck win

By Brian Liskai

ATTICA, Ohio (Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007) - On a night when Attica Raceway Park
honored the track champions from the past 19 years, it was 12-time titlest
Mark Keegan who scored his 55th career victory on World Auto Parts of
Huron/Cleveland Night.

Bryan Sebetto scored his 7th win of the season in the 305 sprints, while
Ryan Missler tightened up the points battle in the Fultz Fabrications &
Speedshop Attica Late Models by taking his third victory of 2007. Brian
Arnold used a last lap pass to pick up his second victory of the year in the
dirt trucks.

Keegan benefitted from cautions just as he was entering heavy lapped
traffic, giving him a clear track to hold off point-leader Byron Reed for
his first win of the season at "Ohio's Finest Racing" venue in the World
Auto Parts of Huron/Cleveland 410 Sprints.

"I want to dedicate this win to Eric Phillips...this place was his dream 20
years ago and we (Mark and his brother Larry) to be a part of opening Attica
Raceway Park back up," said Keegan of the former ARP promoter who passed
away earlier in the week.

"Those cautions came at the right time. There were lapped cars racing pretty
hard ahead of me and I didn't know what I was going to do. This car was so
good tonight...I knew I would have to strew it up pretty good not to have a
shot at winning," said Keegan beside his Midwest Transportation and Auto
Sales, Jon Wright Custom Chrome Plating backed #X car.

Fremont's Bryan Sebetto used his patented high line in turns 3 and 4 to
drive around early leader Stuart Brubaker and take the victory to move to
within 37 points of Andy Shammo for the track title in the 305 sprints.

"I have to thank Josh Meggitt for understanding the situation I'm in. Rich
Farmer allows me to drive his 410 sprint on Saturdays and Josh kept me in
his car for the 305s here so I could have a shot at the points title," said
Sebetto beside his Frosty's Put-In-Bay Bar, Gressman Powersports, Hot Shots
Painting, Sandblasting and Powder-coating backed #01.

Bellevue's Ryan Missler drove to the high side of early leader Clint Coffman
and went on to score his third win of the year in the Fultz Fabrications &
Speedshop late models.

"To have a shot at the track championship I knew I had to win...that's all I
can do. I want to thank my fiancee Amber, my dad and his business Missler
Industries and Machine Shop, Taze DJ and Karaoke, McElwain Construction and
all my sponsors," said Missler

Tiffin's Brian Arnold used a lapped machine as a pick to drive around
race-long leader Bob Dible with just a lap left to score the dirt truck
victory.

"I have to give all the credit to my crew...we changed everything on this
thing tonight. I want to thank Bobby Davis for helping us get this thing
hooked up," said Arnold beside his Burns Electric, Burns Iron & Metal,
Make-A-Wish Foundation backed #33.

Keegan shot into the lead from his third starting spot at the start of the
30-lap 410 sprint feature with Tony Beaber, Lee Jacobs, Paul Weaver and Troy
Vaccaro in tow. The first yellow would fall on lap 6 just as Keegan was set
to hit lapped traffic.

Keegan would pull away on the restart, with the battle for second a good one
between Beaber, Jacobs, Weaber and 7th starter Byron Reed. Jacobs would move
into second on lap 9, with Reed moving into third a lap later. Keegan hit
traffic again by lap 12, allowing Jacobs and Reed to close. Reed would move
into second on lap 16 and began to pressure Keegan just as the yellow would
fly on lap 19.

On the restart Reed pulled under Keegan in turns 3 and 4, but Keegan kept
his momentum up running high with the yellow once again flying each of the
next two laps. Once racing resumed, Keegan pulled away from Reed who now had
his hands full with Jacobs.

The final yellow would fly on lap 26, saving Reed who had driven off the
high side of turn 2. Keegan would lead the final four laps with Reed,
Jacobs, Weaver and rookie Chris Andrews rounding out the top five.

Stuart Brubaker would grab the early lead of the 25-lap 305 sprint feature
with Brad Bowman, Duane Zablocki, Sebetto and Mark Whaley in tow. Whaley
would bring out the first caution on lap 3 with the running order Brubaker,
Bowman, Sebetto, Zablocki and Kevin Lee. Sebetto would move into second on
lap 6 and would drive to the high side of Brubaker for the lead on lap 8.
Cautions on lap 10 and lap 15 and 16 would slow the action, giving Sebetto a
clean track.

Sebetto would fly to the checkers with Brubaker, Zablocki, Bowman and Lee
rounding out the top five.

Ashland's Clint Coffman would grab the early lead in the 20-lap late model
main with John Bores, Jim Fleming, Chuck Hummer and Ernie Haynes following.
Fleming would move into the runner-up spot on lap 4 with back-to-back
yellows slowing the action. Back under green, Coffman continued to hug the
bottom groove for the lead with Fleming putting pressure on the high side.

Following a lap 9 caution, Fleming would drive off the high side of turn 2
to surrender second to Missler with point-leader Ken Hahn up to third from
his 9th starting spot. Missler would drive around Coffman on lap 11 and
would lead the remaining caution-free laps for the win with Hahn, Wayne
Maffett Jr., Coffman and Fleming rounding out the top five.

Fostoria's Bob Dible would grab the lead at the drop of the green for the
15-lap truck feature with rookie Alex Weichman, Arnold, Cory Ward and Loren
Schwochow in tow. Arnold would move into second on lap 7 and would use
lapped traffic to make his winning move on lap 13. Dible, Art Ball,
point-leader Ward and Endicott would round out the top five.
