IMCA MODIFIED EMPIRE STATE SERIES RACE ADDED TO THURSDAY OF VICTORIA 200 WEEKEND AT FULTON SPEEDWAY
FULTON, NY – The World Products IMCA Modified Empire State Series will return to Fulton Speedway as part of the beginning of the 22nd Annual Victoria 200 Weekend, held September 27-30. The IMCA Modifieds will be a major leg of the Thursday September 27 program to make up for the rained-out Empire State Series event on April 14.
The current World Products Empire State IMCA Modified Series point leader is 4-time Fulton Speedway feature winner this season, Kevan Cook. Current national IMCA Modified point leader Dale Caswell is second in the World Products Empire State standings and the two rivals will surely be in contention for the huge win.
Joining the World Products Empire State IMCA Modified Series on the Thursday night kickoff for Victoria 200 Weekend will be the final leg of the Victoria 200 Rules Modified Mini-Series in a special 35-lap, $2,000 to win show, the ESDCA Mod Lite 36-lap Doug Cooper Memorial Championship, and hot laps for all divisions plus a gigantic pit party.
Friday September 28 will be the traditional Super DIRT Series Victoria championships for the DIRTcar Sportsman (30-laps), UMP Pro Stocks (30-laps), and Mr. DIRTcar Street Stocks (25-laps). Saturday September 29 will feature the sail-paneled Modifieds for the entire Victoria 200 program consisting of heats, consis, All-Star Last Chance Race, and the $25,000 to win Victoria 200. Sunday September 30 has been retained as the weekend raindate.
Coming up this Saturday August 25 at Fulton Speedway is Avon Products / Maple View Garage Night. The DIRTcar Modifieds will be joined by the DIRTcar Sportsman, UMP Pro Stocks, UMP Street Stocks, and 4-Cylinder Enduros will also be on hand. Racing will begin at 7pm sharp.
