Karts Cancelled for Second Time in a Week







Officials at the Cornwall Speedway Karting Club had to cancel
Thursday's
rain date from Tuesdays event as Mother Nature decided to open up the
skies.
As rain started in the late afternoon the night was called. This week's

Event will be held on August 28 R. McPhee Transport being the Sponsor
for
the evening and then on Thursday August 31 for the Lightning Kart's
Sponsors
the final Points event of the 2007 season. It will be a week of
fantastic
racing to finish off the season on the 1/8 mile clay banked oval track
located between turn's 3 and 4 of the main track



The Cornwall Karting club Annual Banquet to honor the efforts from
the
2007 racing season will be held on Sept 11 2007 At the Spot Light Hall
on
Cornwall Center Road To reserve Tickets Call 613-938-3945

plus
mechanic race for fathers..With green dropping at 7:15.And again on
Thursday
August 31 for the Lightning Kart's Sponsors the Final Points race of
the
season

Don't miss this Sunday Aug. 26 - Tenaquip Industrial Supplies -the
Modifieds
will have the Run What Ya Brung event as the drivers can modify their
cars
as they want and we usually get some great creations. A complete race
program is also on the schedule with a general admission price of 9$
and the
first heat is schedule to start at 7pm.
