Kyle Beard Takes AMP Checkers at Siloam Springs
Kyle Beard, driver of the red #86 Super Late Model sponsored by Gary Beard Trucking, KB Transport, Samuel's Performance Engines, and Victory Lane Web Designs, took his third victory in the Day Motorsports AMP Late Model Series with a late race charge, in which Kyle, who started Second Row Outside, behind AMP Points Leader Jon Mitchell, and Leslie Essary of the Show Me Late Model Series, passed both Essary and Mitchell on Lap 14 when Mitchell and Essery were battling for first place on the low groove of the track, and Beard took the high line in Turn 3 and came out of turn 4 with the lead. Kyle then held off a late race charge from both Mitchell and Essary to take the win.
This is Kyle's third win under the AMP banner, and fifth win of the 2007 racing season. The win was hard earned, and well respected, as several racers from both the AMP Late Model Series and the Show Me Late Model Series congratulated Kyle on the clean pass, and hard race, as well as for the win.
