The BattleKarz made the ir final weekly appearance of the year on Sunday at Cayuga County Fair Speedway running Twin 15s as part of the “Fire and Destruction” night special.
Charles DeGroff won the first 15-lapper. The race was highlighted by a red flag on lap four, displayed when James Werner rolled his number 67 after making contact with the turn one wall. Werner emerged uninjured and the race resumed.
On the restart DeGroff grabbed the lead from Adam Keuer and the n led the field home to the checkers. Barb Amidon passed Keuer eight laps into the race to take second. She the n lost second to Karl Werner two laps later.

The second 15-lapper started with the entire field inverted from the first race finish. However, the front row starters were unable to answer the call; Ed Gilner and James Werner. This pre-race shake-up put Keith Keuer on the pole and Dave Nageldinger on the outside pole. Nageldinger quickly took the lead at the drop of the green.
Karl Werner was about to make this a points defining race. He drove through the field and took the lead from Nageldinger on lap five. This forced Bill to finish no worse the n fourth. In the closing laps it looked like the re might be a tie in points as Bill had difficulty getting by Nageldinger for the fourth position.
