QUAKER STATE Returns To The “ARROW EXPRESS - CANADIAN SPRINT CAR NATIONALS”
As The OFFICIAL LUBRICANT For Third Year
For the third year the “Arrow Express - Canadian Sprint Car Nationals” at
Ohsweken Speedway will fly the Quaker State banner as the official lubricant
of the event slated for September 15th.
Nationals Sponsorship Coordinator, Cheryl Pelkie and Pennzoil-Quaker State
Canada Inc. Director of Marketing, Mark Reed have again finalized an
agreement that will see each race winner at the Nationals take home a case
of “Q” Racing Lubricant.
The Quaker State Corporation was created in 1931 and merged with Pennzoil in
1998 to form the Pennzoil-Quaker State Company. In 2002, Shell Oil Company
completed an acquisition of Pennzoil-Quaker State and began to market as
SOPUS Products. The composite company is now a leader in the lubricant
market and still offers the same quality performance motor oils that have
been formulated to help maintain engine life including the Quaker State
Brand.
Pre-entries continue to be accepted until August 15th with Champions from
all of the five affiliate sanctioning groups expected to attend.
Everyone is reminded that if you missed the pre-entry cut-off, further
entries will be accepted on race day. Entry forms are available by
contacting the Event Registrar, Cheryl Pelkie at (519)542-2116 or e-mail –

on race day. All sprint cars that meet the “Arrow Express – Canadian Sprint
Car Nationals” technical rules are welcome to participate.
The 3rd Annual “Arrow Express - Canadian Sprint Car Nationals” will pay the
winner $7,000 U.S. with $600 going to the 26th place starter. Look for
further announcements in the coming days regarding a strong contingency
program being assembled as the final stages of preparation are beginning to
take place.
