At Cornwall Karting Club



With two races left in the point's battle on the 1/8 mile banked clay
oval
at the Cornwall Speedway Karting Club it will be a real action packed
this
week as there will be two nights of action with this week's event as
well as
the rain out from last week which will run Thursday of this week. With
each
class battling for championship is main priority in the Pitts. In the
stock
class 56 points separate the 151 of Ryan Stabler and the 47 of Eric
Dinelle.
One of the classes to watch is Jr. Restricted with the 38 of Luke
Whitteker
and the 8 of Oliver Gough are only 10 points apart and the 27 of David
Latulip not far behind with 8 points behind Gough. In the other classes
are
close in the run for championship as well.

With the cool nights and warm days the track was in tip top shape
Tuesday night when hot laps began so the teams could put final
adjustments
on the racing machines before the green dropped at 7:15.As points being
as
close as they are the teck. inspector Marcel Pecore of Lightning Karts
has
his work cut out making sure that all karts and winners are within the
legal
specifications of the W.K.A. rules, and that each race is a fair as
possible
giving every top karter a chance at the championship.



In this year's Mechanics race with two hearts and a feature was a very

entertaining event with drivers from the regular track and from many
class's
like Modified, Sportsman. Pro Stock and Rookie Drivers took their try
in a
Kart on the fast 1/8 mile oval .In the feature event with many Cautions
and
some great racing 151 of Dave Reneaud who is a familiar name around
Cornwall Speedway takes the checker flag in the last laps of the
feature.



In feature action this week it was close racing from, start to finish
in
every class with some of the fastest lap times seen yet in the 2007
season.

Stock Class the 55 Jr Thompson made some great move's late in the
feature to
take the checkered flag

Jt. Restricted One of the best features of the evening the 10 of
Shelbie
Ladoucer showed her driving talent holding off the pack for yet another
win
under her belt.

Jr. Sportsman the 11 of Dylan Tinkler came through the pack like wild
fire
for a win with the rest of the karts fast and close on his tail.

Jr. Sportsman 1 Myles Delormier takes his number 11 into victory lane
once
again in the 2007 season.

Rookie 2 the 16 of young Patrick Flannigan wins yet another feature in
his
first year of racing at the Kart Club

Box stock Rookie the KC1 of Kacey Neville goes into victory lane where
he
has been many times this season.

Box Stock in a action packed event the 22c of Cedric Gauvreau comes out

victorious.

Jr Restricted young Brianna Ladoucer like her sister wins her feature
event.

The Cornwall karting club Annual Banquet will be held on Sept 11 2007
At
the Spot Light Hall on Cornwall Center Road to reserve Tickets Call
613-938-3945 or at the Kart track this Thursday August 30 at the
registration both.

driver

and the race teams that make this sport what it is to-day in the
Cornwall
area.



Joins us Thursday night August 30 when the rain date from last week
will
make the final race of the 2007 season for the Cornwall Karting Club as
R.
McPhee Transport
Full program plus mechanic race for fathers. And with points as close
as
they are it will sure be one of the best nights of the season.

And be sure not to miss the action on the big track this Sunday Sept.

100 laps in the Modified feature plus 50 lap Pro Stock feature. Both
races
are Super Dirt Series events, Plus Semi Pros and Rookie Stocks. Time
Trials:
6pm - Rain date: September 3rd
