50 lap Stock Feature on Karts Final Night

The crunch is on Thursday night at the 1/8 mile clay oval at the
Cornwall Karting Club. With points very close as they were going into
Thursday night's event. You could feel the anticipation in the pit's as
every single team was gearing up for the final race of the 2007 season and
trying to get every last point they could to clinch the championships.

Thursday was no different than any other race day as officials worked
during the day preparing the track to get into the best possible shape for
the final night and to give every team an equal playing field for the race
for the track titles again this season.

In feature action Thursday night the final race of the season it was close
racing from, start to finish. Making for one exciting final night of racing
for 2007.

Stock Class the first ever 50 lap feature in Cornwall Karting Club's
History, running the first 15 laps then a fuel stop then another 35 on the
fastest track of the season. With several lead changes and several cautions
giving the fans one of the most exciting races of the 2007 season right down
to the checkered with the 50 of Jr Thompson winning the final race of the
season.

Jt. Restricted the 38 driven by Luke Whitteker starting mid field in one of
the best races of the evening hold off the 10 of Shelbie Ladouceur as she
tried every grove and move to get by the 38 with no avail giving Whitteker
the win.

Jr. Sportsman 2 the 1of young Justin Lalancette comes though the field
making some of the best moves he has done all season to once again come
victorious.
Jr. Sportsman 1 Myles Delormier takes his number 27 to victory lane for the
second week in a row

Rookie 2 the 16 of young Patrick Flannigan wins yet another feature in his
first year of racing at the Kart Club

Box stock Rookie. The 22 of Cedric Gauvreau held off the field to take the
checkered in a fast event

Box Stock in a action packed event the.KC1 of Kasey Neville pulls off a
feature win making his way through the field late in the race.

The Cornwall Karting club Annual Banquet will be held on Sept 11 2007 At
the Spot Light Hall on Cornwall Center Road to reserve Tickets Call

100 laps in the Modified feature plus 50 lap Pro Stock feature. Both races
are Super Dirt Series events, Plus Semi Pros and Rookie Stocks. Time Trials:
6pm - Rain date: September 3rd
