URC EYES NEW RECORD WITH MOST DIFFERENT WINNERS IN A SINGLE SEASON

URC handicapping works and the competition is closer then ever! This
statement is backed-up by data as the BAR'S Leaks URC Sprints Series,
(now in it's sixtieth season) is nearing a new record for the most
feature winners in a single season. With the Saturday night victory by
JJ Grasso at the New Egypt Speedway, he became the seventeenth different
feature winner this season. In the mix, is the fact that nine drivers
have scored their first ever career win with URC this season. The
record for most different feature winners dates back to 2001 and 2002
when there were eighteen different feature winners.
With five race dates still set for the 2007 URC schedule, it's very
possible that a new record could be established.

In 2001, twenty-five events were presented with Greg Coverdale and Jeff
Busby each winning three feature events to top a roster of eighteen
different feature winners. In 2002, Bill Brian Jr was a five time
feature winner and shared victory lane stops with seventeen other
drivers that season in a total of thirty-one race dates. Bill Brian Jr
won the URC title that season.

With twenty-three events in the books so far in 2007, the mix of
different feature winners continues. At the top of the list are three
time winners Kramer Williamson (last win August 18) and current point
leader Curt Michael (last win July 28). Chris Coyle has two wins this
season along with rising star Michael Carber. The list of single URC
feature winners includes JJ Grasso, Robbie Stillwaggon, Dave Ely, Ed
Aikin, Joey Biasi, Randy West, Trevor Lewis, Lucas Wolfe, Josh Weller,
Chad Layton, Dave Calaman, Justin Collett and Kevin Welsh.

The Big Shows of 2007 saw Chris Coyle win the CnB Mushroom Opener at the
Bridgeport Speedway on Saturday April 14. The Jack Gunn Memorial
$3,500 to win race at the Selinsgrove Speedway saw Dave Calaman take the
win. On June 27, Lucas Wolfe won the Kasey Kahne Foundation Sprint
Challenge at the Williams Grove Speedway and hitting a home run, was Ed
Aikin, scoring his biggest win of his career, collecting $4,000 for the
win in the Rislone/Shot Drop 360 Sprint Nationals at the Williams Grove
Speedway on August 3rd.

The URC BAR'S Leaks Sprint Series continues on Saturday night, September
22 at the Delaware International Speedway followed by the Shoot Out at
the Wheels paying $3,000 to the winner of the twenty-five lap feature on
Saturday night, October 6. URC will return to New Egypt on Saturday
night, October 13 followed by the annual features only event at the
Grandview Speedway on Saturday night, October 20. The busy URC season
will officially end at the Delaware International Speedway on Saturday
night, November 3.

URC's car count average for the twenty-three race dates remain at
thirty-one, unmatched by any weekly or traveling 360 sprint car
organization in the country.
