The 50 lap special event to be run as part of the 2nd Annual Fall Shootout presented by Bully Hill Vineyards.
(Woodhull, NY) Brian Swarthout is a great race car driver and perhaps an even better businessman. Through his family owned company, Swarthout Recycling of Beaver Dams, NY the winner’s share of the Dirt Track Super Nationals just go a lot bigger. The two time Black Rock Speedway 358 Modified Track Champion jumped at the opportunity to add the Swarthout Recycling name to the sponsor list for the upcoming end of the year biggie at the Woodhull Raceway on October 6. The winner of Saturday’s Big Block/Small Block 50 lap feature event as part of the 2nd Annual Fall Shootout presented by Bully Hill Vineyards of Hammondsport will now pay a womping $3,500. As part of Woodhull Raceway owner, Vern Wasson’s idea to add more money into the already hefty purse any individual or business can donate any monetary amount which will go directly into the 50 lap Dirt Track Super National’s purse. Each person or business that donates a minimum of $100 will receive a weekend Grandstand Admission package valued at $35, plus lots of free air time over the tracks public address system all weekend long.
Swarthout Recycling is also a major point fund contributor for the T3 All Star Series for 358 Modifieds which will also run in conjunction with the three day affair set to go on October 5-7. The T3 All Stars will run a special 30 lap feature paying $1,500 to win on Friday, October 5 to kick off the huge weekend of activity. It is anticipated that Swarthout and his familiar red number 14 will be on hand for the weekend of action. The winner of the T3 event will receive an automatic birth into the 50 lap Dirt Track Super Nationals on Saturday, October 6.
