Jessica Zemken Honors Cornwall Karting Club Banquet.



Well know 358 and big block Modified, Sportsman,410 WOO Sprint and 360 ESS
sprint car Driver Jessica Zemken was on hand at the Annual Karting Club
Banquet to honor this year's top winners. Zemken who started her racing
career in Go-karts and has moved up the ranks driving everything from 360
Sprint cars, Modifieds, 410 Sprints and others talked to the local Karting
club on how she moved up and what hard work it had been. As well as Jessica
gave the young drivers great advice on how to work hard and follow their
dreams. She was the first woman to ever run in the big block Modifieds at
Super dirt week running with the best of dirt track racing. It seems no
matter what Jessica gets into to race she gives 100% and does a great job.
She is sure to have a great career in the racing world as she is already a
well known and respected driver where ever she runs.

The annual banquet was a great success again this year with a full house
on hand to receive the awards for top drivers as well as top crew chief that
this year was Charles Delormier who looks after 3 Karts on any given night.
The 27 Of Myles Delomier in Jr Sportsman and Dallas Delormier in Rookie 1
and the 67 of Logan Delormier in Jr Sportsman 2 with a combined point total
of 1,964 points .

Most improved driver of 2007 goes to the 10S of Shelbie Ladouceur who
last year had a 9th place 446 point finish of the season and this year she
finished 4th with 614 Points.

Track Champions of the 2007 season are
Box Stock Rookie the 4D of Dominic Point with 704 points.
Box Stock the KC1 of Kacey Neville with 766 points
Rookie 1 the 39 of Michael Morrissette with 654 points
Rookie 1 the16 of Patrick Flanagan with 340 points
Jr Sportsman 1 the 27 of Myles Delormier with 720 Points
Jr Sportsman 2 the 1 of Justin Lalancette with 754 points
Jr Restricted the 38 of Luke Whitteker with 754 points
Box Stock the 151 of Ryan Stabler with 672 points

Every Driver at The Cornwall Karting club received a Outstanding Participant
award so no one left the banquet empty handed. A great time was had by all
who attended. Special thanks went out to all track officials, Photographers
and canteen employees for making the 2007 season a great success. As it
these people who make each year possible with all the hard work that goes
into making a great season.
Cornwall Karting Club will be back next season as work has already begun for
what will be a great 2008 season. It takes allot of work to put together a
season at the Karting club from track preparation each race night to rules
and regulations right down to what food is served in the canteens. Its these
people who are the unseen hero's of each season.
