Little Valley Speedway will end its 2007 season on Saturday, September 22nd with a dynamite doubleheader featuring the Super Late Models and the 358 Modifieds in a T3 All Star Series event. The super late models, coming off two great races pitting Bob Close against David Scott and Vic Coffey, will run 30 laps for $3,000 to win, while the 358’s, featuring many Woodhull drivers, like past winners Billy and Curt Van Pelt against Ransomville/Merrittville stars, including Chad Brachmann, Robbie Krull, Tim Jones, and other regional drivers, will vie for $2,000 in first place money for 25 laps. The race will also be a Victoria 200 All Star Qualifier.
Also on the card will be the E-Mods, re-scheduled from the September 8th rainout, the Super Stocks, and the Street Stocks. All Little Valley divisions will be racing for the track championship, with the super stocks the closest division, with one point separating first place Steve Dixon and second place Randy Hall. Close leads the late models, while Rich Michael Jr. paces the E-Mods and Chris Austin holds the street stock lead.
Little Valley Speedway, the only true half-mile dirt track in the region, is located on the Cattaraugus County Fairgrounds in Little Valley New York, just eight miles from Ellicottville, and just north of the Salamanca exit of I-86. The track features a covered grandstand, stadium seats, and great food. There is also free camping with hookups right on the grounds. Gates open at 3:00, with racing at 6:00.
