Ransomville , NY …2007 BRP CanAm Series point leader, Jeff Chesebro, held off a spirited challenge by Jeremy Wonderling to win the first heat. Dave DuBois put on a three wheel driving clinic to claim victory in heat number two. Bob Buono and Rick Baker were staged in the front row of heat number three and just as they got the OK to enter the track Mother Nature put a stop to the action.
After a short, but intense shower the track maintenance team went to work to dry the track. Shortly after their work was done a hot lap session was called to fine tune the track. A few laps later a very heavy rain storm hit the track and the program was cancelled.
No clean date is available and the BRP CanAm Series will not return to Ransomville Speedway in 2007.
The next Series race is tomorrow night [Saturday September 15] at Woodhull Raceway.
