USAC To Host Autograph Session During Chevrolet-Sponsored Event
Stars of USAC Racing’s Three National Series To Appear at Eldora Speedway During An American Revolution Weekend
INDIANAPOLIS (September 18, 2007) — The United States Auto Club (USAC) will host an autograph session with the stars of the USAC National Silver Crown, Sprint and Midget Car Series divisions from 6:15-7 p.m. EDT Saturday, Sept. 22 as part of the American Revolution Weekend presented by Chevrolet event at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.
The event, which will allow fans to get up close and personal with their favorite USAC drivers, is open to the public and will be conducted in the multi-purpose building outside turns three and four on the Eldora Speedway property.
As the entries continue to come in for the first annual American Revolution Weekend, it is expected that up to 50 drivers could attend the autograph session. Levi Jones, Tracy Hines, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Dave Darland, Jerry Coons Jr., Bud Kaeding, Darren Hagen and many more USAC stars will be available to sign autographs and pose for photos.
The two-day American Revolution Weekend presented by Chevrolet begins Friday, September 21, with gates opening at 3 p.m. EDT. Practice for the WoO Sprint Series and United Midwest Promoters UMP Modifieds begins at 6 p.m. EDT with racing scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
For Saturday’s American Revolution Weekend/USAC 4-Crown finale, gates will open at 11 a.m. EDT. Practice and qualifying for the USAC Silver Crown, Sprint and Midget divisions will take place between 3 – 6 p.m., with the autograph session featuring the stars of USAC scheduled for 6:15 – 7 p.m. EDT. Racing for all three USAC divisions will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday night.
Reserved seating for both nights of the American Revolution Weekend at Eldora Speedway can be purchased by calling 937-338-3815. Race fans can also purchase tickets at the gate each day.
