Adult admission only $6; FANtastic Five racing plus Pure Stocks and E-mods make-up features
HARTFORD, Ohio (Sept. 18, 2007) - Sharon Speedway is thanking its loyal fans this Saturday by offering reduced adult ticket prices and a total of seven feature races during Fan Appreciation Night.
Adult admission for Saturday's event is just $6 - a $5 savings.
To start the evening, the Pure Stocks and E-mods will make up their rained out features from Sept. 8. Then the FANtastic Five divisions will take to the track. To provide fans with some extra entertainment, the Speedway is holding fun races in lieu of Saturday's heat races. Races will include a Hot Dog Race, an Australian Pursuit, a Crack the Whip Race and a Pit Stop Challenge Race. Then, each feature race will be lined up by points, but a fan will pick a number by which to invert the field; so the top point getter may be starting first, or much lower, depending on how many cars the fan decides to invert.
As mentioned, tickets for Saturday's show are just $6 for adults (16 and older), $5 for kids (12-15) and free for children 11 and younger. Pit passes are $22, and the pit gate opens at 3 p.m. Also, Pepsi patio suites are available for just $5 above the regular ticket price.

Racer's Swap Meet
Sharon Speedway will hold a Racer's Swap Meet on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held rain or shine and the speedway concession stand will be open throughout. The pre-registration fee is just $10 and cost the day of the meet goes to $15.
Sharon Speedway Banquet
The annual Sharon Speedway banquet will be held Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Yankee Lake Ballroom. More information will soon be available on the speedway's website at www.sharonspeedway.com.
