Jackson Scores Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock Win Saturday At Rolling Wheels

Elbridge, NY – September 22, 2007 – By Tom Skibinski, DIRTcar NorthEast PR Director

The Hoosier Tire-Sunoco Race Fuels Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock Series Championship trail came to Rolling Wheels Raceway Park on Saturday and it was defending Super DIRT Week champion Louie Jackson capturing the DIRT Track Digest 30 during the 21st running of the World Series of DIRT Track Racing Weekend at the Fast Track.

“I finished second here last year so it feels good to finally make it into victory lane after coming so close,” said Jackson , following his third career Mr. DIRTcar Series victory. “The track was just beautiful tonight, black and slick just the way I like it. We’ve got enough experience now running this circuit and it finally paid off.”

Chasing Jackson across the line were Eastern New Yorker Dean Charbonneau, reigning Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock Champion Pete Stefanski, May winner at Rolling Wheels Allen Peters and Denis Gauvreau, who eventually lost all his points and money after failing to participate in the customary post-race technical inspection.

Through the initial five of the eight-race Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock Series, the Sunrise Racing Team of Pete Stefanski and Allan Peters have two wins apiece and will be a force to be reckoned with the rest of the way. The next stop on 2007 tour is slated for Fulton (NY) Speedway on Sept. 28 before teams head to Super DIRT Week for the Salt City showdown.
