FOUR EVENTS REMAIN ON URC BAR'S LEAKS SPRINT SERIES OF 2007 . . . . .
CURT MICHAEL SECURE IN POINT LEAD, DAVEY SAMMONS BOLTS INTO TOP FIVE

The URC 60th Anniversary Sprint Series continue to enjoy one of its'
best season ever and Saturday night at the Delaware International
Speedway, the story was no different. Fly'in Brian Seidel scored his
twenty-second career win with URC, taking the $2,500 first place prize
in convincing style and leading all twenty-five laps. This victory
was also his first win of the season driving the Guy Howie owned
sprinter.

In twenty-four URC events this season, eighteen different drivers have
visited the URC win circle, matching the record in 2001, when again,
eighteen different drivers won feature events. With four race dates
still remaining, it is possible that a new record for the most different
winners in a single season could be established. In the point chase,
Ocean View, DE driver Curt Michael has a comfortable point advantage
over runner-up Michael Carber. Michael is looking to win his fifth URC
Championship and fourth consecutive title. 2006 Rookie of the Year
Driver Davey Sammons is enjoying a strong run. After a solid third
place finish at Delaware International on Saturday night, Sammons is now
ranked fifth in the season long point chase, an outstanding achievement
with solid finishes the second half of the season.

URC will next be in action at the Rolling Wheels Raceway in Elbridge, NY
on Saturday night, October 6 for the $3,000 to win Shoot Out at the
Wheels. The Wheels event will be a full point race (minimum 50 point
earnings) for URC. All the details for this event can be found on the
URC Website under the Competitors page. This show is a 360 Sprint
stand alone event that is part of Super DIRT Week. The following
weekend, URC will be in action in a full program of sprint car racing at
the New Egypt Speedway. On Saturday, October 20, the URC Sprints will
be part of the Thunder on the Hill racing Series, taking part in the
Annual House of Thunder 5-25's, features only event. The Grandview
Speedway event will begin at 6 PM. URC's season finale is set for
Saturday, November 3rd at the Delaware International Speedway.
