JIM TURNER SUCCUMBS TO INJURIES IN SCRA ACCIDENT

Veteran Sprint Car driver Jim Turner succumbed to injuries suffered in an accident during the running of SCRA’s Sprint Car main event last night at Kings Speedway in Hanford, CA. Turner tangled with another car approaching turn three, resulting in a series of violent flips. The remainder of the event was canceled.
Turner, 50 years of age, was transported to the hospital in critical condition where emergency care was administered, but unfortunately, he did not survive his injuries.
SCRA officials offer their deepest sympathies and condolences to the Turner family and friends.
