Independence Motor Speedway banquet slated for November 10
INDEPENDENCE, Iowa - The 2007 awards banquet for Independence Motor Speedway will be held in the 4-H Building on the Buchanan County Fairgrounds on Saturday, November 10.
The evening will begin with a social hour from 6 to 7 p.m. followed by dinner, catered by McElroy's Catering of Winthrop, from 7 to 8. Trophies will be presented to the top 12 drivers in points in each division, along with a number of special awards, during the awards ceremony from 8-9. Music will be provided by JK Entertainment for dancing from 9 to midnight.
Tickets for the banquet are $15 each. Those wishing to come after the meal and only for the awards and/or dancing will be required to pay $5 at the door. Tickets may be ordered by sending a check, along with the number of tickets needed, to Independence Motor Speedway, PO Box 258, Independence, IA 50644. The deadline to order tickets is November 5.
