HALLOWEEN THUNDER TO CLOSE OUT 2007 AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY SATURDAY
NIGHT, OCTOBER 20
The gates of the Grandview Speedway will swing open just one more time
in 2007 on Saturday night, October 20 when the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder
on the Hill Racing Series will present the Grandview THUNDER 5-25's, a
features only program that will showcase the five divisions of dirt
track racing. The Annual House of Thunder Halloween party will offer a
variety of tricks and treats for all who attend, but above all, expect a
great night as on Thunder on the Hill can present. On the program will
be five twenty-five lap feature events and include the URC Spooky
Sprints, the Nasty NASCAR Modifieds, the Looney Late Models, the
Rolling Thunder Legends and the 600 Monster Modifieds. Also on the
program will be the always entertaining Garden State Vintage Car display
and race. Race time is set for 6 PM with gates opening at 4 PM. Adult
General Admission is $20, children 6-11 are $5 and under the age of six
will be admitted for free. The Pit Fee is $25 and a license is not
required. More then 115 race cars will fill the Grandview Speedway pit
area to compete in the 2007 season finale
Remember, there are no heats, no time trials no consolation events. Just
5 awesome feature events all getting under way with the drop of the
green flag at 6 PM. Spectators are invited to come out early and enjoy
the pre-race fun! Dress up for Halloween and you just might be invited
to join in the Victory Lane Photo.
What's so special about Thunder on the Hill? . . . . . Fans will have
an opportunity to experience the popular Inside/Out Promotion, where
spectators may view warm-ups from inside the fourth turn. Just meet at
the flag stand by 5:15 PM to be part of the Inside/Out promotion. Of
course, no Thunder on the Hill Show could run without JOE the Pizza
DUDE. Joe will again be giving away free pizza to the loudest race fans,
so be sure to stomp your feet, scream and shout and you just might earn
a free Pizza Pie. Specials treats will be handed out throughout the
night. One Lucky Fan, wearing any kind of a mask, will be called to
drop the green flag in the opening night feature.
Some pre-race activity will include a display by the well known
Shellhammer's Speedway, a Berks County go-kart track. Numerous karts
will be on display behind the grandstand and prior to the start of the
racing program. Always an expected treat and tradition is the
fireworks salute on the parade lap of the URC Sprint feature. This is
just an awesome sight and sure to send chills up your spine.
The Thunder on the Hill Racing Series is all about having fun so
spectators are invited to come out early and enjoy the pre-race fun!
Dress up for Halloween and you just might be invited to join in the
always festive Victory Lane Photo at the Halloween Party event.
To conclude the night, the always fun celebration in victory lane will
find the five feature event winners with plenty of champagne flowing.
Remember, if you are dressed for Halloween, you could make your way into
the victory lane photo. All fans are invited to victory lane and of
course, to visit the pit area and meet all their favorite drivers after
the racing program.

The House of Thunder Halloween Party and Grandview THUNDER
5-25's features only program will close out the 2007 Thunder on the Hill
Racing Series. On the five division program will be the URC Spooky
Sprints, the NASCAR Nasty Modifieds, the Looney Late Models, Ghostly
Legends and the 600 Monster Modifieds. An added attraction to the show
will be the always enjoyable Garden State Vintage Stock Cars. Come out
early for the pre-race fun! Dress up for Halloween and maybe you'll be
in the Victory Lane Photo.
