2007 ASCS Sprints on Dirt Banquet This Weekend
TULSA, Okla. (October 23, 2007) - The Engine Pro ASCS Sprints on Dirt presented by Victor Reinz will celebrate the 2007 season and honor champion Tim Norman this Saturday during the annual awards banquet. The dinner and ceremony will take place at the Holiday Inn South in Lansing, Michigan. Dinner will take place at 7:00 p.m. followed by the awards ceremony.
Norman, along with the other drivers that finished in the top 20 in the points, will be recognized along with several special awards. Reservations are still available at the cost of $25 per person. The 28th year of racing action for the ASCS Sprints on Dirt consisted of 18 nights of competition at nine different tracks throughout Michigan and into Canada.
In 2007, the 16th year of sanctioning Sprint Car racing for the American Sprint Car Series, the series had approximately 240 scheduled nights of racing action at approximately 100 different race tracks throughout at least 30 different states and Canada.
