Team VLWD Members Prepare for Gumbo Nationals
As the 2007 Racing Season winds down, several members of Team VLWD are preparing to make the trip to this weekends Gumbo Nationals at Greenville Mississippi. Making the trip will be the following racers:
Kyle Beard: The 2007 AMP Late Model Series Rookie of the Year who has really come on as a Late Model racer this year.He also finished 2nd over all in AMP Series points. Kyle's last race was at the Fall Classic at Why Not Motor Speedway last weekend, where he was caught up in a Lap 6 crash and finished 24th. Kyle hopes to change his luck this weekend with a strong finish at Greenville in his #86 GRT by Frye machine. Andy Hockenhull: The New Mexico Gentleman will be making the trip in his new #95H GRT Super Late Model. Andy finished 5th over all in AMP Series points this season, and is hoping to make a good showing at this weekends race. Charlie Cole: The 23 year old from Harrisburg Arkansas will be making the trip in his #2 GRT machine. Charlie finished in 7th place over all in AMP Series points, and really began to come on as the season progressed and had several Top 10 and Top 5 finishes at various races in the past couple of months.
