Josh Howard Recovery Fund Established
TULSA, Okla. (October 31, 2007) A recovery fund has been established for Byhalia, MS, racer Josh Howard, who was injured last Thursday night, October 25, during the opening night of the 20th Annual Short Track Nationals at Little Rock's I-30 Speedway.
Suffering a compression fracture of the C5 vertebrae, the 22-year-old underwent what was deemed a successful surgery early Saturday morning in a Little Rock hospital. Suffering a nicked spinal cord, it is still too soon to determine the full extent of Howard's injuries.
Regardless of the final outcome, Josh Howard faces a lengthy rehabilitation and recovery process, and with that will come continually mounting medical bills. Those wishing to contribute to the Josh Howard Recovery Fund may send their contributions to
