Genesee Speedway to possibly add Fire Hall Enduro Series and Bandit class in 2008.
Batavia, NY—November 20, 2007--By: Chris Rhynold, Media/Racer Relations Director
Before the end of the season the staff at Genesee Speedway were looking into what kind of class they could add to the schedule for the 2008 racing season that could bring more people into racing and create an entry level class to get people started in stock car racing.
As of right now, Genesee Speedway is looking into adding a Fire Hall Enduro Series and a Trophy Dash Bandit Class.
The Fire Hall Enduro Series would be run once or twice a month depending on the schedule. Points would be accumulated and the top three in points would receive a donation to the fire hall that they are racing for. Each fire hall could enter as many cars as they would like and points will go with each car.
The Bandit class would be open for kids 12-16 years old. They would compete in Mini Stock cars and adhere to all Mini Stock rules. The top three finishers would be awarded trophies for their accomplishments.
Please contact Genesee Speedway if you would be interested in running in either of these divisions. Your response will determine whether we add one or both of these classes to our 2008 schedule.
