URC BANQUET DATE QUICKLY APPROACHING. . . .
SILENT AUCTION ADDED TO URC BANQUET FUN SATURDAY NIGHT, DECEMBER 8TH AT
THE LANCASTER HOST INN
URC will be celebrating their 60th Anniversary as well as the success of
the competitors who competed on the 2007 URC Bar's Leaks Sprint Series
Tour on Saturday night, December 8 at the Lancaster Host Inn, Lancaster,
PA. Former champions Glenn Fitzcharles and Dave Kelly will be attending
this always upscale affair. As URC achieves their sixtieth season as
the nation's oldest traveling sprint car organization, the confetti
will also fall on URC Driver Champion Curt Michael and Owner Champion
Kathy Palladino. A host of other awards will be presented along with a
cash point fund pay out to exceed $42,000, plus thousands of dollars in
contingency awards. A silent auction is being added to the URC Banquet
agenda. One auction item will be an 18x24 canvas painting, autographed
by Kasey Kahne and Dave Blaney. Also part of the silent auction is a
mirror painting of Kasey Kahne and Kramer Williamson in sprint cars at
Williams Grove Speedway in 2007. Proceeds will go to Clark Angstadt to
benefit a newly formed URC Driver's relief fund.

Members as well as the dedicated and hard working URC Officials. A
