BASS PRO SHOPS TO SPONSOR WILLIAMS GROVE 358s
MECHANICSBURG, PA -- When the 358 c.i. sprints make their first appearance of the 2008 season on Friday evening, March 21, at Williams
Grove Speedway, the racers will begin the chase for the Bass Pro Shops championship.
"The 358s have been an important part of the Williams Grove schedule since 1989, and it is a credit to the division that a company like Bass Pro Shops has chosen to come on board as a title sponsor for this series," said Justin Loh, the speedway's general manager.
The 358s along with the super sportsman cars will have a practice session on Sunday afternoon, March 16, following the afternoon's sprint
car races.
The 358 c.i. sprints have been scheduled to make 15 appearances in 2008, the first season under the sponsorship of Bass Pro Shops.

The 20th season of 358 c.i. sprint racing at Williams Grove will begin with Mechanicsburg's Pat Cannon as the defending champion.A total of 186 features have been completed for this division since Bob Beidleman won the first event back on April 7, 1989.
"Bass Pro Shops has supported Williams Grove in the past, but we are excited to be the title sponsor of the 358 division," O'Hara said.
"The Williams Grove fans are our customers and we look forward to an exciting 2008 season."
