Chris Grbac and Dylan Dewert head up Early Entry list for 2008 T3 All Star Series for 358 Modifieds presented by Troyer Race Cars

(Woodhull, NY) Iselin, New Jersey speedster, Chris Grbac heads up a who’s who list of early entries for the 2008 T3 All Star Series for 358 Modifieds presented by Troyer Race Cars.

The second generation Garden State pilot plans on traveling to as many of the 2008 series events as his schedule will allow. Calling the New Egypt Speedway his home venue, Grbac is the son of the legendary Mike Grbac who barn stormed many of the top Pennsylvania and New Jersey speed plants until his untimely death at the old Reading Fairgrounds Speedway.

This will be the fourth consecutive season that Grbac has registered for the T3 All Star Series for 358 Modifieds and like he has in the past he will be powered by alcohol fuel and shod with American Racer rubber.

“One of the reasons I like traveling with the T3 Series is that the rules are simple. Any engine configuration as long as it is a 358 cu. in., gas or alky, aluminum heads and any tire combination. It opens the playing field to anyone that wants to play.”

Chris Grbac lists the Macman, Collin Franks Tool Sales and Moran Racing Engines as his primary sponsors and he can be reached via e-mail at fullthrottle47@aol.com.

Like Grbac, Dylan Dewert of Corning, NY will make a return engagement with the T3 All Star Series when the fourth year touring group makes its 2008 debut. Dewert has never finished outside of the top ten in series points and has set atop the point standings at one time or another in two of the three years the series has competed. In 08 Dewert hopes to dethrone the three time series champion, Billy VanPelt, however the veteran 358 modified speedster knows it will not be an easy challenge. Like last year Dewert will see limited action in his racing schedule with the Woodhull Raceway listed as his home track. He will campaign the same potent 2007 Bicknell Chassis with Bob Stapleton power between the rails that led him to a third place position in the final 2007 T3 point standings. As always, “Deuce D” will be sponsored by his own company, Dewert Speed along with Yeager Contracting, both of Corning. It should also be noted that Dewert has a perfect attendance record in T3 All Star Series action as both he and Billy VanPelt have never missed an event in some twenty-eight events that have been staged thus far.

The 2008 T3 All Star Series for 358 Modifieds presented by Troyer Race Cars 2008 schedule of events is nearing completion, but may not be released until as late as February as numerous tracks are still in negotiations with the series management.
