URC BIG DEALS HEADING INTO 2008,
SAMMONS LANDS PALLADINO RIDE. . . .
CHAD SINON JOINS COYLE SPONSOR LIST. . .
ANDERSON RENEWS DEAL WITH MARTIN & RISLONE
Even before the calendar changes to 2008, several big deals have already been sealed for competitors of URC going into the New Year.
Youthful Davey Sammons has landed the popular Palladino #99 ride for the new year. Sammons, winner of the 2007 season finale, finished fifth in
driver points and was named URC's Most Improved Driver of 2007 will be on a mission. The #99 Team is looking for another title and the
Bordentown, NJ youngster will be looking for his first URC crown.
Also making big news in URC is the arrival of Chad Sinon as a team sponsor. Sinon, a popular and well known car owner and sponsor in the modified stock car ranks, is now taking a look at sprint cars. Sinon just signed on to be a lead sponsor for Chris Coyle of Wilmington, DE. Coyle won three URC features this season driving his own #83. Coyle will remain owner of his team this year, but his sprint car will carry the familiar BPG Racing colors and the #4.
And still another story line. Becca Anderson and Jimmy Martin have struck a deal for 2008. This team merged in mid-season of 2007 and was
threat at each event. With Rislone as the sponsor of the #17, Becca Anderson and the Jimmy Martin owned race team are strong contenders for the Rislone URC Sprint Series of 2008.
Defending URC Champion Curt Michael will see how he likes the color green in 2008, taking the ride in the top equipment of Bill Gallagher and Valley Forge Inc.
URC is busy finalizing their 2008 Smart Schedule, that will again mirror their 2007 schedule. The final 2008 Rislone URC Sprint Series schedule will be posted shortly.
