CORRINE ECONOMAKI TO ADDRESS OHIO MOTORSPORTS COUNCIL
ROSSBURG, OH (Jan. 7) – Headlining the assemblage of the Ohio Motorsports Council (OMC) for their initial 2008 meeting on January 26 will be a keynote address from Corrine Economaki, publisher of National Speed Sport News. To be staged at the AMA (American Motorcyclist Associaion) headquarters in Columbus, OH, the meeting brings together promoters and operators of Ohio motor sport facilities in a common cause to preserve and promote their trade,
As daughter of the ‘Dean of Motorsports’, Chris Economaki, Corrine has been around motor sports all of her life. She was selling copies of National Speed Sport News (NSSN) at short tracks where her father started his announcing career, and worked her way through the ranks over the years to becoming the publisher; a title bestowed upon her in the fall of 2006.
Economaki will address the group on how the media, including NSSN, can be beneficial to Ohio’s motor sports scene.
Following her oration, the gathering will join in an open forum to discuss and share thoughts on multiple items of interest pertinent to their operations.
