BRP/Hoosier Race Tires Modified Tour 07 driver Skip Moore will take to the internet airwaves as the Series prepares to honor its drivers at their annual party and social gathering on Saturday, January 26th, 2008. Moore will be a guest on the “Clamped Up” program hosted by C.J. Swank and Dennis Michelsen on the Race Talk Radio website (www.racetalkradio.com) on Wednesday, January 16th. The program airs in the 7:00PM to 8:00PM time slot.
Moore, will be discussing his season as he traveled the BRP/Hoosier Race Tires Modified Tour en route to a tenth place finish in the Series’ final point standings. The Jackson Center, PA driver captured a career best fifth place finish when the Series visited the Eriez Speedway in August. Moore also had his best ever finish at the Lernerville Speedway in 2007 when he captured a third place finish in the Joe Pitkavish Memorial held on July 27th.
In addition to being one of the area’s most consistent Modified drivers Skip is very knowledgeable in DIRT Modified history and is an excellent public speaker. Who knows this personable Modified driver may just have a future behind the mike when he chooses to hang up his racing shoes!!
Race fans will also be able to hear FASTRAK Series founder, Stan Lester, on the same program.
