SCOTT McCLAREN & ANDREW HANNULA ONBOARD FOR RISLONE URC SPRINT SERIES
SEASON OPENER

Confirmed on a phone call Tuesday evening, another Super Team will be in
the hunt for a visit to the coveted URC victory lane in 2008. URC
Rookie of the Year Andrew Hannula of Matawan, NJ has joined the team of
Scott McClaren for the coming season. Without a doubt, the McClaren
team cars out of Freehold, NJ are two of the top rides available in
URC, and the youthful Hannula is all geared up for 2008. McClaren, a
top sprint car owner in URC, also has plans to return to the drivers
seat himself when the Rislone URC Sprint Series opens at the Bridgeport
Speedway on Saturday night, April 12th. "I'm optimistic about the
new year and Andrew. He has a lot of energy and plenty of focus on his
goals", commented McClaren. "The competition in URC is probably the
toughest you'll find anywhere. Andrew and I talked about it and we want
to run against the best", added McClaren. Hannula will drive the #21A
as McClaren will wheel the #21.

With the great equipment provided by McClaren and the natural talent of
Hannula, they do expect to be contenders for victory, as well as the URC
Championship Title which is also within reach according to McClaren.
It's this simple, they're coming to race, they're coming to win!

Never before in the sixty year history of URC has there been so much
news and such strong and powerful positive excitement about the coming
URC season. The numerous ride switches have certainly added a mix of
the "unknown" and at the same time, leveled the playing field. The URC
Super Teams of 2008 are almost too numerous to count and we run the risk
of missing someone. But "who's hot to watch" in 2008.

Twenty-nine race dates at premier Northeast facilities are on the URC
schedule. All Rislone URC Sprint Series events will pay a minimum of
$2,000 to win and $200 just to take the green flag in a regular distance
twenty-five lap feature event. URC also continues to pay tow money to
non-qualified cars. At least four special events will beef up the
"Who's Hot To Watch" Tour of 2008. The Jack Gunn Memorial, the Rislone
URC Sprint Nationals, the Kasey Khane Foundation Race and the Sprint
Challenge at the Wheels are a sample of the high profile events making
up the schedule. Some other perks with URC include the lucrative point
fund that exceeded $45,000 in cash and an additional $15,000 in
contingency awards in 2007. The URC insurance program for competitors
is also second to none.

URC Drivers & Owners will again be rewarded with the Chips Reward
Program. When a driver, owner or race team, does a car show, makes a
personal appearance, speaks on a radio or TV show, takes part in an
autograph session or sends out a press release, they will earn a chip.
You can earn all the chips you want, then at the URC Awards Banquet,
there will be a drawing with one person winning the $500 cash prize.
The more chips you have will increase your chances at winning the cash.
The real gain here is earning your team, driver, owner, sponsors and
URC the additional media and fan exposure. It's a win-win for all.

URC is once again offering a great season for competitors and fans
alike. For more information, visit our website at: www.urcsprints.com
