Several “Shocking Experience” awards to be handed out during the season
(Woodhull, NY) Mike Farr may now reside in Georgia; however his racing roots are still firmly planted in the Northeast quadrant of the United States. Farr, who grew up near the Jamestown/Erie regions of New York and Pennsylvania has dedicated all of his adult life to the sport of auto racing. Having been affiliated over the years with such famous shock companies as Carrera and Pro, Mike Farr took a gamble and started his own shock absorber company in March of 2006. He along with partner, Mike Lutz of Atlanta started Genesis Shocks located in Roswell, Georgia and within just a couple of year’s the business has grown by tremendous proportions. Farr recently announced plans to re-join the T3 All Star Series for 358 Modifieds as an associate sponsor for the 2008 season which currently involves 7 events at 5 different race venues spread across the Twin Tiers of NY and Pa. “Right now we are a new, young company and we just can’t dive right into any type of a big time sponsorship deal stated Farr from his Roswell, Georgia office. However, we are a grass roots company with a lot of experience in what we’re doing and the T3 Series shares the same values. Likewise, they are growing as well, and this will be a perfect relationship.” Genesis looks to gain more recognition and put more of their products on 358 Modifieds that run the T3 Series as well several other classes of competition and tour groups that they are already affiliated with. 358 Modified standout, Dylan Dewert picked up one T3 All Star Series feature win last season at the Woodhull Raceway and finished third in the final “07” T3 All Star Series point standings with Genesis Shocks bolted onto his machine. Top Big Block Modified pilots like Bob McCreadie, Jeff Hoetzler, Jimmy Chester, and Ritchie Pratt along with several MAC Late Model Series and WoO Late Model drivers like Chub Frank and BRP 360 LM feature winner, Jimmy Johnson already know the value of having Genesis Shocks on their mounts and so can you.
Like last season, Genesis Shocks will provide redeemable product discount certificates for use during the 2008 T3 All Star Series for 358 Modifieds campaign and no less than 5 different drivers will share in the “Shocking Experience” contingency prize incentives. Details on eligibility will be forthcoming.
In addition to a complete line of Adjustable and Non-adjustable Shocks, Genesis also offers Small Body Adjustable and Non-adjustable Shocks as well as Coil Springs and Camair Products. Genesis Shock dealers in the Upstate New York Region include Dewert Speed, Lake Erie Speed, Ed Carley Motorsports as well as Behrent’s Speed Center.
