MARCH 15 IS FINAL DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF RESUMES FOR
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR POSITION AT THE NATIONAL SPRINT CAR MUSEUM
KNOXVILLE, IOWA (February 20, 2008) - The executive search committee of the board of directors of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum Foundation, Inc., has set the end of business on March 15 as the final deadline for the receipt of resumes for the executive director position. With current museum executive director Tom Schmeh moving into the newly created position of curator, the ten-member search committee is eager to finalize its roster of applicants and begin the selection process.
The responsibilities of the new executive director will include, but are not limited to, day-to-day operation of the museum and foundation, as well as overseeing its fund raising programs. The board of directors is seeking applicants with strong people and management skills, business management and/or marketing experience.
Applicants are invited to submit a resume along with a brief description of a vision for furthering the efforts of the 501(c)(3) non-profit museum foundation to Louis C.
