Weekend two is a special three-race weekend (Aug. 15-17) where again Edelweiss and Brockville make up Friday and Saturday. Again, a cool $1,000 will await the top five in points for the two races.
“This is an unique program that we wanted to work on for this year. While the overall points will reward the best over a sixth month period, the weekend point funds will give extra dollars to teams that have a good weekend.” noted ESS President Chuck Miller. “Also, this type of sponsorship might entice a few teams to spend a weekend with us knowing there is a nice chuck of change waiting at the end. Not only do we have the largest A-Main purse of any organization but add on separate point funds and there’s money to be won. We have to thank Rick and his whole family, they like sprint cars, like to support ESS and the teams.”
These three weekends will be followed up by an announcement of at least two more with others still in the works. It’s the 25th Anniversary of one of the most successful 360 organizations… Poirier, VanDusen, Yonge, Cook, Bergeron, Parent, Wickham, Kerrick, Stelter, Sparks, McDonald, Barger and many, many more will be out in force looking for the Lucas Oil crown. All the action will kick off on Saturday night, April 12th at the Black Rock Speedway and followed by 30 more mud slinging events. For more information, please log on to www.empiresupersprints.com .
