Advanced reserved ticket sales at Ohsweken Speedway for the 2008
World of Outlaws Late Model and Sprint Car shows along with the 4th Annual
Canadian Sprint Car Nationals continue to be delayed.

Cheryl Pelkie who is in charge of advanced ticket sales for the speedway
continues to monitor the situation. “Ohsweken Speedway continues to work
diligently with a contractor to advance the number of permanent spectator
seats. The move will see the capacity grow to close to 8,000 from its
current 5,000 and requires considerable planning. The final agreement is
getting close to being completed” revealed Pelkie. “We continue to get
numerous inquiries regarding sales and are disappointed to have to reveal
the delay continues however it is anticipated that if all goes well, we
should be in a position to release the tickets to the public soon. The last
thing that we want to do is go into this without a confirmed seating plan so
we don’t oversell any given seat” she concluded.

A release date for Advanced Ticket Sales for all events where
reserved seating will be utilized which include the three World of Outlaws
shows and the Canadian Nationals will be posted on the official website at
www.ohswekenspeedway.com as
soon as the new seating plan is available. Any questions should be directed
to Cheryl or Ken Pelkie at (1-888) 720-7223 or email to pelkiekj@ebtech.net.
