VERNON, NY- Annually, the Utica-Rome Speedway has a strong presence at the Motorsports Expo held each spring at the New York State Fairgrounds and this year will be no different as speedway officials and racers alike will be on hand all weekend long. The 22nd Annual Motorsports Expo will be held this weekend, March 7-9, at the Toyota Exhibit Center at the famed fairgrounds.
2008 schedule cards, rule books, and other information will be available all weekend long as track officials will be on hand to answer question on the upcoming season. As is usual, many of Utica-Rome Speedway’s regulars will be visiting throughout the weekend. Some competitors will also have their cars on hand for display.
The 2008 season gets underway on April 20 with the Sportsman and Pro Stocks plus the SUNY Canton Street Stock Series which will pay $1,000 to the winner. For more information, log on to www.uticaromespeedway.com or call the speedway office at (315) 829-4557. |
