POST-RACE QUOTES & NOTES:
Donny Schatz, driver of the No. 15 Armor All/Chevy/ParkerStore/J&J for TSR:
ˇ§Weˇ¦re not excited about finishing second. We race to win and were in a position to do that this weekend. When you are leading the race, sometimes you can judge yourself by the lapped traffic. We started on the front row and felt like we were setting a pretty good pace. The race stopped right after the halfway point and we didnˇ¦t get to run through much traffic. I had some pretty good momentum going and just didnˇ¦t start searching around, looking for the rubber, and that cost us the win tonight. All the guys did a great job on this Tony Stewart Racing team, giving me a good car tonight. We were hoping to get that first win for Armor All, Chevy and ParkerStore, but weˇ¦ll have to wait until the next race in two weeks to try again.ˇ¨
Kraig Kinser, driver of the No. 20 Bass Pro Shops/Chevy/J.D. Byrider Maxim for TSR:
ˇ§The car was there. I had a good car all night. The heat race was as good for TSR as it could have been with Donny (Schatz, teammate) and I finishing one-two. On the start of the A-main, I had a chance to move into second and drove it hard into the second turn to try the slide job. I turned it too quick and the full fuel load turned me around in the center of the track. I was able to hang on and get going again, even though I lost a few spots. It was a good night for the TSR/Bass Pro Shops/Chevy team. I feel like weˇ¦re good where we are now and that weˇ¦ll continue to get better each time we get on the track. Iˇ¦m looking forward to heading to Bulls Gap in a couple of weeks and getting back on the track.ˇ¨
