ACCORD, NY - Miss Accord Speedway Loralyn Brinster To Compete This Weekend At Miss Dirt Car NE Competition

Miss Accord Speedway Loralyn Brinster will vie for the 2008 Miss Dirt Car NE Title this coming weekend at the annual Motorsports Expo being held at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, New York. Dates for the event are March 7th through the 9th with the competiton phase being held in the evening on the 7th and sponsored in part by Leaf Racewear. For the 20-year old Miss Brinster, this will be her second appearance at the event. Last year Miss Brinster was awarded first runner-up honors in the competition won by the reigning titlist Miss Angela Galati. The 2006 event was won by Miss Chelsea Miller. The winner of the event will collect $500.00 for her efforts.
Miss Brinster recently competed for the AARN Miss Motorsports title in Atlantic City, New Jersey and came away with a strong second runner-up finish in the event, an event won by female racer Tiffany Skias. Miss Brinster is certainly no stranger to competition herself as she is currently the reigning Miss Middletown Motorsports titlist, and event she captured last March. In addition to her title and duties at the Accord Speedway, Miss Brinster is currently Miss WALN for the renowned TV/Internet station located in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
The lovely Miss Brinster has strong ties to the racing community as she has worked pitside in the past for such drivers as Ralph Utter Jr, Clinton Mills, Joel Murns Jr, Pete Van Nordt and Kevin Colman. She attends more than 60 races per year with her favorite tracks being Gary Palmer's Accord Speedway and the Moody Mile in Syracuse, New York. She lists her favorite drivers as Jeff Heotzler, Jerry Higbie, Clinton Mills, Pete Van Nordt, and Kevin Colman. Miss Brinster is not of big fan of superstitions although she does frown on the wearing of green at the racetrack.
The 5-foot 9-inch, green-eyed beauty lists her favorite hobbies as racing, working on race cars, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, bowling and just plain kicking back and relaxing. When she finds the opportunity to watch TV, she lists her favorite shows as Grey's Anatomy, Speed Channel, and NASCAR racing. She is an avid follower of the New York sports franchises, the New York Mets, New York Rangers and the recently crowned Super-Bowl Champions the New York Giants. When it comes to decide on her favorite foods, Miss Brinster lists pizza and fruit with water being her favorite beverage of choice.
Miss Brinster is currently attending the Sussex County Community College with a full scholarship on the basis of her graduating in the upper 20-per cent of her senior high school class. She is undecided in regards to her plans after graduating from college.
