O'Reilly Midwest All Star Series Schedule Expands

CAMARGO, IL (3-12-08) by Robert Cortum - Midwest All Star Series

The O'Reilly Midwest All Star Series is pleased to announce the addition of two dates to the 2008 series schedule. The additions will include stops at Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana on June 7th, and Mt. Vernon Speedway in Mt. Vernon, Illinois on September 6th.

These additional dates push the Midwest All Star Series schedule to 24 events in 2008 and gives drivers additional seat time at well known tracks on the schedule. Mt. Vernon Speedway will now host the Midwest All Star Series twice this season adding value to fans and drivers alike.

As if the additional seat time wasn't enough in preparation for the Hoosier Fall Classic at Lawrenceburg Speedway, the winner's check for the June 7th event has been increased to $3000 to win. The added Lawrenceburg date will now serve the "Best in the Midwest" sprinters four times in 2008.

Both of these venues have become very familiar to the drivers of the O'Reilly Midwest All Star Series. Mt. Vernon was a part of the Inaugural 2007 Campaign and Lawrenceburg has been a venue in which many of the drivers have traveled to over the years.

Lawrenceburg's push to a $3000 top prize will make it a popular draw for drivers and fans alike. Other traveling series in the area currently have the night off of their schedules, including the O'Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions and many local drivers have been known to throw on a wing to compete with the travelers. With the All Star Circuit of Champions and Midwest All Star Series having a combined rulebook, anticipation of some of the nation's top drivers being in attendance will be high.
