CORNING, NY - The Regional International Pro Truck Series will continue
its rounds of the pre-season race show circuit this month with stops at
the popular Woodhull, Redline and Clinton County Speedways annual
Racing show at the Arnot Mall in Horseheads, NY April 5-6.
All three tracks enjoyed huge responses from their competitors and fans
last year, and this year's event will include the stars of the T3 All
Star 358 Modified series, IMCA ranks, BRP 360 Late Models tour, along
with weekly regular competitors in the Crate Sportsman, Street Stock,
Mini Stock and FWD divisions.
Event organizers expect this year's show to be one of the biggest the
Arnot Mall has seen.
The RPTT will have a presence at the show, and will be racing at all
three of the venues involved. Rules, schedules and t-shirts available
all weekend, and representatives will be on hand to answer any
questions anyone may have.
Additional information about the show is available online at
Woodhullraceway.com.
Earlier this month, the Regional International Pro Truck Tour was at
the annual Motorsports Expo presented by Suzuki and Camping World, in
the Toyota Exhibit Center at the New York State Fairgrounds (Syracuse,
NY).
Ralph Champion's Champion Scrap Metals No. 27 Champion Racing Chevrolet
Silverado made the haul to the Fairgrounds with Michael Warren's Finger
Lakes HVAC No. 5 Warren Racing Dodge Ram, handing out information and
tour schedules.
“I was really happy that Ralph made it to the show” Warren said.
“So
many resilient race fans made the trip despite the weather, and it was
great to see people we haven't seen since last summer. "2007 rolled into
2008 without any hitches, and its good to be back around our racing
family.”
The series is looking forward to upcoming practice events April 12 and
13 at Woodhull (NY) Raceway, Skyline Raceway (Blodgett Mills, NY (April
17), Batavia's Genesee Speedway April 19, and Redline Raceway in
Granville, PA April 25. "The dates are fairly close together, but we
should see some teams out to get some seat time as we know they are
itching to get back behind the wheel," Warren said.
