Both the Canandaigua and Cayuga County Fair Speedways will hold pre-season practice sessions in the month of April. Track management is offering a three hour session at each facility to allow race teams to prepare for the upcoming 2008 campaign.
Cayuga County Fair Speedway will open for their warm-up session on Wednesday, April 9 with track time being allowed from 5-8pm.
The following Saturday, April 12, Canandaigua Speedway will be open for a test and tune session from 12-3pm. Each track will conduct a rotating practice schedule to accommodate all divisions competing at both Speedways, as well as any other racecars that would like to attend.
Grandstand admission for each test session is FREE, with pit admission set at $15.
That Sunday, April 13, the Cayuga County Fair Speedway will open for its 54th season with 1040 Tax Night starting at 5pm. The 1,040th fan to enter the front gate will receive a free season pass. That evening the DIRTcar Big-Block Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, UMP Street Stocks, and BattleKarz will all be in competition.
The ‘ Land of Legends ’ will open the next weekend on Saturday, April 19 for its 45th Anniversary season. Sponsor Appreciation Night will kickoff at 5pm with the DIRTcar Big-Block Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, UMP Street Stocks, and Pure Stox all making tracks. |
