Scott Pursell announces new sponsors and plans for 2008 URC Season.

FOR 2008 URC SEASON




Frenchtown, NJ – Sprint car driver Scott Pursell and his Advanced Autosports #1 Racing Team are more than ready for the 2008 season of competition with the historic United Racing Company (URC), the country's oldest and most respected traveling dirt track sprint car sanctioning organization. The URC season will open at the Bridgeport Speedway in Bridgeport, NJ on Saturday, April 12.

The team is proud to announce new sponsorship from Homestead Coffee Roasters in Upper Black Eddy, PA. Pursell, now in his 31st year of racing, has notched six stock car championships and captured 20 career wins in sportsman, small block modified and sprint car competition. He has been campaigning since 1998 with URC, garnering six feature wins and finishing in the top ten in URC points seven times. For 2008, the team plans a full-on assault on URC in a J&J chassis and power plant from Tony Feil Competition Engines in Raritan, NJ.
